This is not a traditional cookbook in the sense that it has very basic foods and favorites ranging up to more complicated variations of food from various cultures. Also, it is a compilation of both recipes and stories about growing up and travel. I absolutely love AB and have watched all of his shows on Viceland. He's unique, unapologetic, laid back, and open to food as an experience. I grew up in New Jersey outside of New York City and his attitude and the food he highlights just remind me so much of home. I would like to see more cookbooks written like this - genuine.
I collect cookbooks, and I’m always drawn to anything that’s funny, and this price of work is hilarious! Chock full of awesome recipes I cants wait to try!!
Not much new here that isn't in the TV show. Thought it would show more insight and technique into Action Bronson's foodie side, but is kind of a stoner-oriented cookbook in my opinion. For a young person just getting into cooking or the food scene may be worthwhile.
Forgot to take it to Action Bronson's show in Denver for an autograph :( But the book is great and the stories are fantastic. We've only cooked the chicken parm recipe so far (Action yelled at us to do so at his show) and it was SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOD!
This book is a blindingly bright orange. You've been warned.I got this for my coworker for his birthday (he likes rap and cooking, perfect), but couldn't help but flip through it before I gave it to him. I was expecting a cookbook (which, reading the whole title now shows how dumb that was), but there's not a lot of recipes in this book. There's some, but not the whole book. It's more of a decription of Action Bronson's favorite things he's eaten and his commentary on that. The book has foul language.Would recommend.
If you're an Action Bronson fan, you'll love this book. Like his show, it's irreverent and amusing. Great photos, recipes, & tutorials.
