It started out good but got a little off track with side mysteries and intrigues that just dragged the story on for no reason at all. For example, why half way through story, the stepmother suddenly have magic ability to place a binding spell on Cinderella to stop her from telling the king that she is being forced to marry someone else? Then the story was about trying to rescue her. This story took detours to drag-it-out-ville.If you are a Prime-member, read it for free. Save your money.
Terrible. I am sorry I wasted $0.99 on this. I couldn't even get three "chapters" in because this was so poorly written.
Poorly written. Actually written so a grade schooler could read it if it wasn't Adult themed. The author repeats information you have already been provided, over and over again, I suspect, to fill the chapters. The characters are all shallow and stupid. There are tons of typos. I basically skipped huge sections to just get to the end in hopes of something interesting to happen, but alas, I was disappointed. The worst thing about this book is the poor use of modern day speech. Sometimes this can work when done in a period piece, but this was a big fail. She uses ars, the throws out the F word. Ok that made me laugh. But seriously there are better written romantic stories with detailed intimate scenes if that is what you're looking for. The one star is for the attempt at a twist to an old beloved story.
There was a lot of discrepancies. Repetitive. And the heroine was just... I can't even begin to describe her. It's not worth the money.
I bought this book on kindle because the story description sounded interesting and it was only 99 cents. However, I regret buying it. I'm okay with giving it one star only because of the story idea. The grammar and errors are horrible and I really want to offer to edit it myself and maybe help save the story.The author also constantly repeated herself and wrote in circles, reminding the readers of things that they didn't need reminding of, as if the readers were children who might have forgotten.The relationship between Cindy and the King started off alright in a way, since they met before and talked several times, however, I wish she'd written more description of their conversations to show how perfect they were for each other, beyond the lust they shared.
This was poorly written, wretchedly edited, and overall just disappointing. The premise was decent but it's as though a seventh grader wrote it under a tight deadline.
So overall the idea was great. I adored the story. The details and characters needed to be developed. Editing would go a long way to. I did not enjoy reading everything as much of the words lead to nowhere and seemed to just fill the pages. I ended up skimming/skipping just to finish it. Things occurred in the story that had no reason and just felt stupid. Really there was nothing about the vampire rather than just the title. Trading with the witch was ridiculous. I wouldn't mind reading Red's story if the writing, plot, characters improve. Again though I liked the main idea of the story line. There just could have been so much more done with it.
This book has a little potential but I just couldn't get into it. Before I knew it I just found myself skimming through it. Some of the characters were alright but honestly if I could i would only give like half a star. 😩 disappointing.
